About the speaker
Dr. Dmitri Ptchelintsev is a Senior Manager of Innovation, Research & Development at TRI-K Industries, Inc. – a leading provider of actives so-lutions for the personal care industry.
Before joining TRI-K, Dr. Ptchelintsev had spent 18 years at Avon Pro-ducts, Inc., leading the External Innovation and Strategic Alliances pro-grams aimed at discovery, evaluation and commercialization of novel materials and molecules for skincare applications. His successful endeavors in cosmetic chemistry are documented by over 45 US patents as well as by multiple foreign patents. His research papers have been published and cited by multiple peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Ptchelintsev is a frequent guest and presenter at the SCC meetings as well as annual meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology, Society of Investigative Dermatology, and American Chemical Society.
Dr. Ptchelintsev received his B.S. Degree in Chemistry from Moscow Lomonosov University in Moscow, Russia, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Design De-gree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
